Update: Check out our latest post about adding Instagram to your Facebook page.

Over the past few months we’ve had a lot of people ask us about displaying a gallery of their latest Instagram photos on their Facebook pages. Unfortunately even though Facebook has now bought Instagram, there are still only a few ways to get your Instagram photos onto Facebook. You can post them to Facebook as you take the photo on your phone, or get the link to the photo and manually post them. For individual users this might be ok, but if you’ve got a Facebook fan page or business page you might want to have a more automated process for displaying your photos and letting users interact with them.

Luckily getting a gallery of your photos displayed on Facebook is not that difficult at all.

To add your photo gallery to your Facebook page, follow these steps:

  1. Visit SnapWidget and generate a widget for your Instagram username or hashtag
  2. Copy the code snippit
  3. Login to your Facebook page as an administrator
  4. Install the Static Tab app on your Facebook page: http://apps.facebook.com/static-tab-for-pages
  5. The Static Tab app will allow you to embed the widget into your page. Click on “1st Tab” to install.
  6. Choose the page you want to install it on from the dropdown and accept the permissions
