# Can I use a Facebook widget without a Facebook account?

> You need a Facebook account, because a Facebook widget reads photos through the Facebook account that you connect.

No. A Facebook widget gets its photos through the Facebook account that you connect in the widget builder. Without a Facebook account, the widget cannot read any photos.

To show the photos of a Facebook page, the account that you connect must also manage that page. If another person manages the page, ask them to give your Facebook account access to the page. See [Facebook page photos](/docs/facebook/page-photos-widget).
