# Can I use the widget with https?

> Yes. SnapWidget code uses https, so free and Pro widgets work on secure websites. Replace old http code with the current code.

Yes. Free and Pro widgets both work on websites that use https. The code that you copy from SnapWidget already uses https:

```html theme={null}
<iframe src="https://snapwidget.com/embed/123456" ...></iframe>
```

You do not need to change anything.

## If your code starts with http

Old widget code can start with `http://` instead of `https://`. Browsers can block this code on a secure website, so the widget does not show. To fix it, [get the current code for your widget](/docs/getting-started/find-your-widget-code) and replace the old code on your website.

If your widget shows "Your widget needs to be upgraded", see [My widget needs to be upgraded](/docs/troubleshooting/widget-needs-to-be-upgraded).
