# Can I display Instagram photos for another user?

> You cannot type in another person's username. Learn the ways to show their posts with their permission, or with a hashtag.

You cannot show an Instagram account by typing in its username. Instagram only lets SnapWidget read an account's posts after the owner of that account signs in and gives permission.

You can still show posts from other people in these ways:

> **[Send For Auth](/docs/instagram/send-for-auth)**
>
> Send the account owner a link. They sign in, and the widget shows their posts. Needs a paid plan.

> **[Hashtag widget](/docs/instagram/hashtag-widget)**
>
> Show public posts from any account that uses a hashtag, or from people who join your Hashtag Campaign. Needs the Pro or Developer plan.

If you can log in to the other person's Instagram account yourself, you can also click **Connect** in the widget builder and sign in with that account.

The account that signs in must be a creator or business account. Personal accounts no longer work. The owner can [switch to a creator account](/docs/instagram/switch-to-a-creator-account) for free.
