# How do I add an Instagram widget to my Blogger webpage or blog post?

> Add your SnapWidget Instagram widget to a Blogger post, page or sidebar with the HTML view or an HTML/JavaScript gadget.

Paste your SnapWidget code into a Blogger post or page in HTML view, or into a gadget in your sidebar. The same steps work for Facebook, X, TikTok and YouTube widgets.

### In SnapWidget

1. [Create your widget](/docs/getting-started/create-an-instagram-widget), or open an existing widget from your [dashboard](https://snapwidget.com/dashboard).
2. Click **Get Widget**. For an existing widget, click **Update & Get Widget**.
3. In the **You're One Step Away** window, click **Copy To Clipboard**.

### In Blogger

1. In Blogger, click **Posts** or **Pages** and open the post or page. To start a new post, click **New Post**.

2. In the top left of the editor, switch from **Compose view** to **HTML view**.

3. Paste your code where you want the widget to show.

4. Click **Publish**. For a post or page that is already live, click **Update**.

>
> Do not switch back to **Compose view** after you paste the code. Blogger can say that your HTML is invalid and change the code.

### Add the widget to your sidebar

1. In Blogger, click **Layout**.
2. In the section where you want the widget, click **Add a Gadget**.
3. Select **HTML/JavaScript**.
4. Paste your code into the **Content** box and click **Save**.

### Check your widget

Open your blog. The widget shows your latest Instagram posts where you pasted the code.
