# How do I add an Instagram widget to my ClassicPress website page?

> Add your SnapWidget Instagram widget to a ClassicPress page or post with the Text tab of the classic editor.

Paste your SnapWidget code into the **Text** tab of the ClassicPress editor, on the page or post where you want the widget to show. The same steps work for Facebook, X, TikTok and YouTube widgets.

> [!NOTE]
>
> You need the Administrator or Editor role. On a multisite network, only a Super Admin can add the code. For other roles, ClassicPress removes the code when you save.

### In SnapWidget

1. [Create your widget](/docs/getting-started/create-an-instagram-widget), or open an existing widget from your [dashboard](https://snapwidget.com/dashboard).
2. Click **Get Widget**. For an existing widget, click **Update & Get Widget**.
3. In the **You're One Step Away** window, click **Copy To Clipboard**.

### In ClassicPress

1. In your dashboard, click **Pages**. Hover over the page and click **Edit**. For a post, click **Posts** instead.

2. Click the **Text** tab above the editor.

3. Paste your code where you want the widget to show.

4. Click **Update**. For a new page, click **Publish**.

> [!WARNING]
>
> Do not switch to the **Visual** tab after you paste the code. The visual editor can remove the `<link>` line, and then photos do not open in the lightbox.

### Check your widget

Open the page on your live site. The widget shows your latest Instagram posts.
