# How do I add an Instagram widget to my Elementor website?

> Add your SnapWidget Instagram widget to a WordPress page that you build with Elementor, with the free HTML widget.

Elementor is a page builder for WordPress. Paste your SnapWidget code into an Elementor **HTML** widget where you want the widget to show. The same steps work for Facebook, X, TikTok and YouTube widgets.

> [!NOTE]
>
> The **HTML** widget is part of the free Elementor plugin. By default, only administrators can use it. An administrator can give other roles access in the Elementor **Role Manager**.

### In SnapWidget

1. [Create your widget](/docs/getting-started/create-an-instagram-widget), or open an existing widget from your [dashboard](https://snapwidget.com/dashboard).
2. Click **Get Widget**. For an existing widget, click **Update & Get Widget**.
3. In the **You're One Step Away** window, click **Copy To Clipboard**.

### In Elementor

1. In your WordPress dashboard, go to **Pages**. Hover over the page and click **Edit with Elementor**.
2. In the widget panel, search for "HTML". Drag the **HTML** widget to the place on the page where you want the widget.
3. Paste your code into the **HTML Code** field.
4. Click **Publish**. For a page that is already live, click **Update**.

### Check your widget

Open the page on your live site. The widget shows your latest Instagram posts. The preview in the Elementor editor can look different, so always check the live page.
