# How do I add an Instagram widget to Shopify?

> Add your SnapWidget Instagram widget to your Shopify store with a Custom Liquid section in the theme editor.

Paste your SnapWidget code into a **Custom Liquid** section in the Shopify theme editor. The same steps work for Facebook, X, TikTok and YouTube widgets.

### In SnapWidget

1. [Create your widget](/docs/getting-started/create-an-instagram-widget), or open an existing widget from your [dashboard](https://snapwidget.com/dashboard).
2. Click **Get Widget**. For an existing widget, click **Update & Get Widget**.
3. In the **You're One Step Away** window, click **Copy To Clipboard**.

### In Shopify

1. In your Shopify admin, go to **Online Store** > **Themes**.
2. Next to your current theme, click **Edit theme**.
3. At the top of the theme editor, select the page where you want the widget, for example **Home page**.
4. In the sidebar, click **Add section** at the place where you want the widget. Select **Custom Liquid**.
5. Paste your code into the code box of the **Custom Liquid** section.
6. Click **Save**.

### Check your widget

Open your live store. The widget shows your latest Instagram posts. To move the widget, drag the **Custom Liquid** section to a new place in the sidebar and click **Save**.
