# How do I import my G2 reviews?

> Paste the link of your G2 product reviews page. SnapWidget imports your reviews and checks for new reviews every 3 days.

A G2 source imports the reviews of your product from G2. SnapWidget checks G2 for new reviews on its own, so your widgets stay up to date.

**1. Copy the link of your G2 reviews page**

On [G2](https://www.g2.com), open the reviews page of your product. Copy the link from the address bar of your browser. The link looks like this:

**2. Add a source**

[Log in](https://snapwidget.com/login) to SnapWidget. Click **Sources** in the sidebar, then click **Add Source**.

**3. Choose G2**

Under **Reviews**, click **G2**. Paste the link in **G2 product page** and click **Import Reviews**.

**4. Wait for the import**

The import takes a minute or two. Then the reviews show on the page of the source. Your widgets show them at once. You do not need to approve the reviews of the first import.

If SnapWidget does not accept the link, check that it starts with `https://www.g2.com/products/`.

## What SnapWidget imports

For each review, SnapWidget imports:

* The name of the reviewer
* The job title of the reviewer
* The size of the reviewer's company
* The star rating
* The title of the review
* The text of the review
* The date of the review
* A link to the review on G2
* The photo of the reviewer, when G2 has one

SnapWidget copies each photo to its own storage at once. If a photo does not load, the widget shows the initials of the reviewer.

## New reviews

SnapWidget syncs your G2 source every 3 days. Each sync reads the 10 newest reviews on your G2 page. The first import also reads the 10 newest reviews.

To sync at once, open the source and click **Sync Now**. On the **Sources** page, you can also open the menu of the source and click **Sync Now**.

After each sync that adds new reviews, SnapWidget sends you an email. What happens to the new reviews depends on the **Auto-approve** switch, next to **Sync Now** on the page of the source:

| Auto-approve | What happens |
| - | - |
| Off (default) | The new reviews wait for your approval. They do not show in your widgets until you approve them. |
| On | The new reviews show in your widgets at once. |

> When you hide a G2 review, it stays hidden. A later sync does not show it again.
