# Why are my photos going to SnapWidget and not Instagram when clicked?

> On a free widget, clicking a post opens a SnapWidget page. With a Pro widget, you choose where a click goes, for example Instagram.

Clicking a post opens a SnapWidget page, not your Instagram post. This is how free widgets work.

Pro widgets let you choose where a click goes with the **Photo Link** setting. Pro widgets come with the Lite, Pro and Developer plans. Every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial.

## Where a click can go on a Pro widget

| Photo Link | What happens when a visitor clicks a post |
| - | - |
| **Instagram** | The post opens on Instagram in a new tab |
| **Instagram Same Window** | The post opens on Instagram in the same tab |
| **Lightbox** | The post opens in a [lightbox](/docs/widget-settings/lightbox) on your website |
| **Shoppable (Lightbox)** | The post opens in a lightbox with your [shop links](/docs/widget-settings/shoppable-photos) |
| **Other** | A link that you choose opens in a new tab |
| **None** | Nothing happens |

## Change where a click goes

**1. Open a Pro widget**

On your [dashboard](https://snapwidget.com/dashboard), click the widget. If it is a free widget and you have a paid plan, click the **Advanced** tab, then click **Upgrade This Widget To Pro**. The widget keeps the same code.

**2. Choose the Photo Link**

On the **Advanced** tab, select an option in **Photo Link**.

**3. Save and copy the code**

Click **Update & Get Widget**, then click **Copy To Clipboard**. Replace the old code on your website with the new code. Some **Photo Link** options change the code.

See [Free and Pro widgets](/docs/getting-started/free-and-pro-widgets) for everything a Pro widget adds, or the [pricing page](https://snapwidget.com/pricing) for the plans.
