简单的我，也简单地过了一天。 早晨，贴心的女儿特地早起，煮了爱心早餐给我吃。中午，父母请我们吃自助餐，之后在家里唱生日歌和享用我最爱的蛋糕。傍晚，我们到海边散步，小孩在游乐场玩得不亦乐乎。晚上，我们吃卤肉饭和A&W的卷曲薯条, 然后就回家了。也就这样，我开心地过了41岁生日。 如今，真的不奢求什么，只希望一家人健康，平安，快乐。这样在一起度过的亲子时光，足以让内心有满满的幸福了。❤️❤️ ****** A simple celebration suits the simple me best. I woke up to a hearty breakfast prepared by the sweet Ariel who planned for this days before, then we had lunch with my parents who treated us to a yummy buffet. My Dad bought me my favourite cake and we had the cake cutting at their home followed by watching Spider-Man. In the evening, the hubby took us to the beach and the kids had a fun time at the playground. They made us take turns to sit on Flying Fox and pushed us with all their might, which made everyone laugh out loud and had a good time. We had a late dinner with braised pork rice that I love and I also couldn't resist but get some curly fries and root beer float from A&W as dessert. Then it was time for home sweet home where I had to nag at the kids to finish up their homework, pack their school bags and go to bed. Haha. Am I happy? Yes, and I cherish the little joys in my life deeply. It is such a blessing to have my loved ones with me and all I ask is for everyone to be healthy and happy so that we can keep making such precious memories and enjoy the simplicity of life. Thanks to everyone who sent over their birthday wishes one way or another, I truly appreciate them. Hope everyone had a great weekend too! P.S. One year on since the memorable yacht party. Thanks for being the ones to always celebrate this day with me! ❤️ It was a lovely night out at the beautifully decorated @routine_sg, complete with yummy food, fruity soju, the popular warabimochi, surprise dishes, refreshing Bingsu and lots of chatting. I can never get enough of sessions like this where we can talk about anything we can think of. It's also the first time that all four of my kids, including the two younger ones, willingly let Mama go for a girls' night out (there would usually be some whining and protesting). One moment they are all tiny and needing to be cradled, the next moment they have soared their wings and are ready to take off. Nearly 15 years has passed in this parenting journey yet I still feel like a new mum on many days because of how much more I have to learn and how much room I have to grow. With the eldest catching up with my height but the youngest still wanting me to carry him every day, I am thankful to still be able to savour the different phases of motherhood. It is my blessing and my privilege to see you all grow up day by day and it still amazes me to know that my babies have grown up so quickly. These years are fleeting. I'm not so sure they would wanna cycle with me for hours under the hot sun in search of this picturesque scenery when they are older, so I totally cherish everything we do together as a family now. Fun in Legoland with Ah Gong and Popo! We brought my parents to @legolandmalaysia (yes, again) during the March hols and had a lovely getaway. I booked a car to take us to and fro and everything went smoothly at the customs and there wasn't a jam too, lucky us! Not surprisingly, the kids still bickered, backtalked and threw tantrums once in a while. It's part and parcel of life to me but I think my parents were expecting them to be more 乖 and 懂事 as they get older, haha, so they probably think I am not disciplining my kids enough. 请不要为我们操心，相信女儿我行的，okay? ❤️ But, we made so many wonderful memories from this trip and these are the moments I hope we can remember, like how my Dad and Mum flew on a Lego airplane, how my Dad went on a raft ride with Asher and I, how my Mum sportingly went on a kiddy car ride when Angel refused to, how the kids played basketball games with my Dad at the arcade, how my Mum loved the Lego boat ride, how my Dad went on the climb-drop Power Tower ride with the kids, how my Mum stood under the tipping bucket time and again at the water park, how we had delicious meals and stayed in an apartment together as a family. I will cherish these precious memories for a long time and I hope the kids will hold them close to their hearts too. 不要把美好的一切当成是理所当然的，懂吗？See who is the happiest of all in the last pic.
