No, it's not actually plumbed in yet... But seeing it set up is still exciting!
An evening well spent with @kallescandice!.
We decided to schedule more hang out time together so we both don't go nuts with our busy lives and since the cooler weather gets us both in the baking mood, this week we decided to bake chocolate chip cookies and peanut butter...
This still makes me happy.
Our original kitchen design has to be altered slightly in order to accommodate this stove, but in my opinion one of the best things about doing renos DIY (and it taking FOREVER) is that you are forced into ideas you never thought of before....
After learning how expensive plinth blocks were, we opted to make our own.
We managed to make 8 for the price of 1. Plus they were SUPER easy to make.
The floors need to be refinished, the trim needs to be installed, we need a rug, and matching chairs, and curtains...
Basically, the room needs to actually be finished (and then I can do fun things like style it).
But for now, I am excited that we are...
Crown moulding presented some interesting challenges. Interesting enough for us to run out of long enough pieces to finish the room.... Whoops!
