Added support for IGTV
All Instagram widgets now support the displaying of IGTV videos. No need to re-auth or update your widget, your IGTV content will display automatically.
Image display and hover enhancements
Improvements to the loading of images in the widget and hover actions have been implemented. The stats display will now round the numbers.
Instagram Basic Display API
With Instagram deprecating the current Instagram API in March 2020, we've updated SnapWidget to use the new Basic Display API.
Starting today, you can update your widget to the new API by re-authing. Doing this before the 2nd of March 2020 will ensure no disruption to your widget.

Instagram Carousel Posts
The Instagram Pro Grid widget can now display carousel posts from Instagram with multiple photos or videos per post. This can be enabled under the Advanced Settings tab for the widget.
Welcome Banner Widget
A new widget type that allows you to display a beautiful welcome banner on your website with a message and link to your visitors. Perfect for promoting new content on your site.
Captions on hover
A new hover effect has been added to display the photo caption on hover. To enable, choose Caption as the hover option for your widget.
Brand Campaigns
Create campaigns for any hashtag and set brand assets for your signup page!
Your users can now join your brand campaign once, and you can link this campaign to any widget and set the hashtag.
Recent Post Popups
You can now add a popup (floating action button) to your site to display your latest posts. This is a great way to get more followers for your Instagram account.
The popup is available for free and pro accounts.
New Scrolling Widgets
We've completely rewritten our scrolling widget. It now works much better on mobile and desktop.
The Pro version now also supports full responsive configurations.
Hashtag Campaigns
Being able to display photos from other users for a specific hashtag has been our number 1 user request.
This is now possible with Hashtag Campaigns!
Responsive Image Sizes
Images in responsive widgets will now load the correct size based on the size of the widget. This should reduce load time of the widget significantly.
Facebook Extended Cache
We've added an extended cache function to display the last valid display of your Facebook widget in case your token expires.
You will also receive an email notification to update your token so we can retrieve your latest photos.
Custom hover text for Shoppable
You can now customize the default 'Shop This' hover text for photos with shoppable links.
Responsive layout options
You can now customize the layout of your Pro widgets based on the display size of your visitors.
This means you can have a smaller 2 x 2 grid display on mobile devices for example, and a larger 4 x 4 grid display on desktops.
Videos playing in the lightbox
Video posts will now autoplay when viewed in the lightbox. This feature is available for all Pro widgets.
Upgrade Free widgets to Pro widgets
If you're a Lite, Pro or Developer plan subscriber, you can now upgrade a free widget to a Pro widget without having to replace the code snippet on your website.

Support for Facebook page albums
You can now display photos from a Facebook page album in your widget.

Update All for Shoppable links
When adding Shoppable links to any of your Pro widgets, you can now apply those links to all other widgets for the same user.
Added PayPal Support
You can now pay for your SnapWidget Lite, Pro or Developer subscription using PayPal.

Extended Cache
We've added an extended cache function to store the last valid display of your widget in case your Instagram token expires.
This means your visitors will no longer see the dreaded 'Your Widget Needs To Be Updated' message when your token expires. You will still receive the email notification to update your token so we can retreive your latest photos.

Linked Services
You can now link your Instagram, Twitter and Facebook accounts once and re-use them for multiple widgets.
This makes updating widgets with expired token much easier!

We've added some new hover effects to spice up your widgets.
Try out the new Zoom and Likes & Comments options by updating the Hover Effect setting for your widget.
Lightbox photo navigation
The photos in the lightbox can now be navigated easily by clicking the previous and next buttons on the side of the photos.
Clickable lightbox links and duplicating widgets
Links in the lightbox are now clickable. We've also added the ability to duplicate a widget.
Widget Migration tool
Users of the older version 1 widgets can now migrate their widgets easily using our migration tool.

Stream your Facebook photos with SnapWidget
