「山電」「山陽」の愛称でおなじみ「山陽電車」。第７回大会から、ナンバーカードへの協賛をしてくださり、男性ランナーの半数分（約7,500人）が「山陽電車」のロゴ入りナンバーカードを着用して神戸の街を駆け抜けました。
コースは、神戸市内にある全14駅と路線におおよそ並走していて、山陽電車が昨年発売した「神戸マラソン１dayチケット」は、観光や沿道の応援にとっても便利でした。EXPO、沿道イベント等への出展、応援グッズの配布など、多岐にわたり大会を盛り上げてくださ
