I'm elbow deep in torn paper and glue this morning as I start the first layer of paper mache on mrs. Potts. I discovered it is important to paint the armature before applying the wet paper to keep the thin wood from deforming when wet and under load. #m

I have sanded the first layer, the low spots (dark) become very evident. The paper mache mixture shrinks quite a bit, so it takes a couple of layers to get it nice and smooth. Next up, I will spray it with primer before applying the next layer. This ke
