来年２月から、山野美容専門学校で受講する「山野流奥伝」に進むため、９月から日野本部で「山野流初伝」が始まりました。
初伝は浴衣の自装、小紋の着付けと名古屋帯の一重太鼓、角出し結び、袋帯の二重太鼓を学びます。
最終試験では、２０分で小紋の着付けと名古屋帯の一重太鼓を着装しなければなりません。
山野流の自装で使用する着物は、正絹ではなく化繊（プレタ）です。
初代山野愛子先生が「誰でもいつでも簡単に着られる」ようになるため、お手入れが大変な正絹ではなく化繊にしました。
