爪石、人口ルビーの研磨加工を行いました。
欠けてしまったり、すでに交換されて入爪と出爪のバランスが良くないときは、交換します。
代わりのルビーが無い時は研磨して、角度を変えたりします。
加工技術も大切ですが、もっと大切なのは、「加工すれば良くなる」と判断できる知識と経験です。
特に入と出のバランスは直した経験が無いとなかなかの難問です。
お客様の時計で、実験するわけにいかないので、最初は自分の時計で研究したり、先人達の教えから学びます。
