「マミフラワー会館」 「マミフラワーデザインスクール」に併設された校舎「マミフラワー会館」は、初の建築造形です。
岡本は、ここが生け花の学校であることから、白い花のイメージを建造物とするデザインを考案しました。
ピンと立った青いツノ、白い花びらの形をした屋根と床の間が広いホールとなり、二本の太い「大根足」がそれを支えている姿は、花の怪物が口を大きく開けているかのようです。
岡本太郎の自由な造形をもとに、建築家が設計図面を引き現実の建物にする。
