<台温泉の５つの源泉>
掘ればすぐ湯が沸いたと言われる台温泉。
今は共同管理や自家源泉を含め１０以上の源泉が存在していますが、歴史上はじめの源泉は５つであったと言われています。
その５つとは、上ノ湯（かみのゆ）、中ノ湯（なかのゆ）、鉢ノ湯（はちのゆ）、箱ノ湯（はこのゆ）、滝ノ湯（たきのゆ）です。
この５つは江戸後期の文書に記載されており、存在が確認されているものだそうです。
上ノ湯は、今の藤助屋旅館さんなどが源泉として使用しています。
中ノ湯は、今の冨手旅館さんが源泉として使用しています。
箱ノ湯
