さて、秋といえば、花札のイメージ、モミジと鹿ですが、道東にはエゾシカはたくさん生息しているものの、モミジはあまりメジャーではありません。

エゾシカに遭遇するチャンスが多い場所は、別海町では野付半島や走古丹、牧草地！などですが、モミジよりはススキ、ハマナスなどでしょうか。
でも、モミジに負けない真っ赤なもの、夕陽の美しさは格別です。
