坂本八幡宮は大伴旅人の邸宅跡。「令和」の出典となった万葉集の「梅花の宴」の三十二首が詠まれたのはこの場所らしい！

ここに大伴旅人は住んでいたのかー。ここで宴が開かれていたのかー。梅が咲いていたのかー。と、ちょっと想像を膨らませてみた。けど…1000年以上も昔って全然想像がつかない！(写真3枚目)

太宰府歴史館に「梅花の宴」の様子を模した展示もあった(写真4枚目)。奥に鎮座している紫の衣の人が大伴旅人らしい(でも本当なら32人いないとおかしい)
