유네스코가 지정한 세계문화유산이자 모던건축의 효시 발터그로피우스가 1927년에 지은 마스터즈 하우스. 디자이너와 그들의 가족들이 거주하던 공간으로 마르셀 브로이어가 디자인했던 가구들로 채워졌고, 칸딘스키와 폴 클리가 인테리어를 맡았다고 해요. 내년 바우하우스 100주년을 맞아 한창 보수 공사가 진행중이었지만 고요한 소나무 숲속에 위치한 이 곳에는 여전히 살아숨쉬는 바우하우스 디자인의 강렬한 아우라가 느껴지던 곳이었어요. .
