今日は、家庭用ミシンに使う針と、工業用（職業用）ミシンに使う針の違いについてお話します。
写真の左側に写っているのが家庭用ミシン針、右側が工業用ミシン針です。
よくご覧いただくとお分かりになると思いますが、
家庭用針は、軸の片面が平たくなっています。
このような軸形状にすることで、
針をミシンにセットする際、正しい方向にセットし易くなっています。
一方で工業用ミシン針の軸は、丸い形状をしています。
そのため、工業用ミシンに針をセットするときは、針の向きに注意が必要です。
