ニードル織機でテープを織っているスロー動画です。
上下に動いているのが綜絖枠（そうこうわく）、綜絖枠に経糸が通され、通し方と綜絖枠の動き方により平織や綾織など織り方がきまります。
ループ状の金具に緯糸が通されており、経糸の間を左右に往復することにより織り上がってきます。
向かって右側で前後に運動しているのがニードル(針)、出てきた緯糸を引っ掛け編み込んでいきます。これによりテープのほつれを途中で止めることができます。
後ろで前後に運動しているのが筬(おさ)、通った緯糸をしっかりと打ち込んでいきます。
