松田屋旅館、本館の階段壁沿いに飾り棚を設置し、本や冊子を置きました。
季節により種類を変える予定ですが、今は花巻の作家「宮沢賢治」をテーマにした11冊の本を置いています。
代表作「銀河鉄道の夜」や「セロ弾きのゴーシュ」のほか、賢治作品の研究や評論書も置いています。
銀河鉄道の夜は、何種類も絵本になっています。どのような絵を描いているかによって、絵本作家の人たちの各々の“見立て”が楽しめます。解釈のしがいがあるのが「銀河鉄道の夜」の魅力の一つです。研究や評論書がたくさん発表されているのも
