6月6日は"梅の日"
「大昔、日本中に晴天が続き、作物が育たず、田植えもできず人々が困り果てていました。 折しも六月六日、神様のお告げにより、時の天皇が賀茂神社に詣で、梅を賀茂別雷神に奉納して祈ったところ、たちまち雷鳴とともに大雨が降りはじめ、五穀豊穣をもたらしました。 人々は、その天恵の雨を「梅雨」とよび、梅に感謝するとともに、災いや疫病を除き、福を招く梅を梅法師と呼んで、贈り物にするようになったといわれています」
そして毎年6月6日には上賀茂神社と下鴨神社に梅が奉納されています???
