名鉄「常滑駅」から東の陶磁器会館に向かう道路沿いのコンクリート壁に「巨大招き猫」、「御利益陶製招き猫」39体、「本物そっくりの猫」11体があり「招き猫通り」の名で親しまれています。
巨大招き猫（とこにゃん）は常滑系招き猫の典型的な顔で、幅6.3m、高さ3.8m。壁の上にひょっこりと顔をのぞかせています。
御利益招き猫は、常滑市の陶芸作家39人が愛情をこめて一体ずつ手がけ、39体に様々なご利益が込められています。
本物そっくりの猫は、巨大招き猫のそばに設置され、近くで見てもまるで生きている猫のようです。 #l
