観に行きたかった展覧会のカタログを京博のミュージアムストアで見つけて購入。

ドラッカーが、若き日から日本の古美術に深い愛情を寄せ、初来日の1959年から熱心に蒐集していた水墨画。
自身により「山荘コレクション」と名付けられたコレクションは、稀少な室町時代の水墨画、桃山時代の海北友松、江戸時代の池大雅、浦上玉堂などの文人画、白隠などの禅画、伊藤若冲や琳派の作品も含まれ、まさに珠玉のコレクション。
