皆さま、昨夜の皆既月食はご覧になりましたか？
満月が赤銅色に染まる折角の機会ということで作業の手を休め写真を撮ってみましたが、少し彩度を上げたせいで梅干しのようになってしまいました。
それにしても、今でこそ「そういう事象」だと理解して楽しめますが、遠い昔の人たちは日食や月食を目の当たりにして、さぞ恐ろしかったのではないかと思います。
2012年5月に起きた金環日食で黒く覆われていく太陽を見たとき、何も知らなければこの世の終わりと思ってしまうだろうと衝撃を受けたことをよく覚えています。
