Kバレエのプリンシパル・浅川紫織さんが10月の『ロミオとジュリエット』を最後にダンサーを引退すると発表、記者会見が行われました。熊川哲也芸術監督より「浅川はKバレエで育ち、Kバレエしか知らずにバレエ人生に幕を下ろすことになりました。彼女は僕にとって最高の誇りであり、芸術活動の結晶です。ここ6年間は股関節に持病を抱えつつ最高のレベルで踊りきり、プロのバレリーナとしてあるべき姿を見せてくれた。僕は彼女から夢と感動をもらった。切ない気持ちはありますが、公演を最後まで成功させることで、彼女に大きな花束を贈りたい」
