I bought this raku “lava heart” at the Volcano Art Center near Kilauea in 2010. Artist Margaret Lynch wrote that the lava flow inspired the glaze. I tucked the heart in a drawer; seems like the moment to bring it out. Sending love to the Big Island. #kil
