Many decades ago, couples jitterbugged on this dance floor every Friday night while a big band played nearby. Today, it’s part of a hiking trail that circles Nashville’s Hidden Lake. Dancing is optional, but strongly encouraged. By me.

This kid and I are headed back to the Caribbean next month and we can’t wait- It will be his first trip to the Bahamas and his fifth Caribbean island.
