お箸の箸先修理

お箸の箸先7～8mmが折れてしまい、修理できるかどうかというご相談をいただきました。子供さんからプレゼントされた夫婦箸なので、できれば直して使いたいということでした。
箸先が折れてしまった場合、欠片を接着してつなげたとしても、耐久性に乏しく、また同じところで折れてしまいます。
そこで、少々不格好にはなりますが、折れた長さに揃えて、もう片方も切って、箸先に漆を塗るという方法で承りました。
