「星 花 人」
オリエンタル中村屋百貨店のキャッチフレーズ「天に星、地に花、人に愛」をテーマに制作されたのがレリーフ壁画《星・花・人》です。
建物北側の外壁には、人間賛歌を謳う男女のレリーフと星、花がデザインされ、夜になると間接照明によって絵柄が壁面に浮き出す仕掛けが街のシンボルとなっていました。
現在、オリエンタル中村屋百貨店はなく建物は名古屋三越となりレリーフは存在していません。
