Gord and I had a late lunch at Wetherspoons in Carrickfergus, Ireland. He had battered cod and chips, which he liked. I had a pepperoni pizza … the pepperoni had a weird taste. So nice to have lunch on a patio overlooking a castle!

Carrickfergus Castle was built by John de Courcy in 1177 as his headquarters, after he conquered eastern Ulster and ruled as a petty king until 1204, when he was ousted by another Norman adventurer, Hugh de Lacy. Interesting spot to spend a couple of hour
Gord and I spent some time at the Titanic Experience in Belfast, Ireland. Fabulous museum! “Experience the true legend of RMS Titanic, in the city where it all began. Unmissable and unforgettable, just like Titanic.”
