Marsala pound cake, a recipe from my book Williams-Sonoma Rustic Italian. It’s a true pound cake, leavened only by the air incorporated into the batter of flour, sugar, eggs, butter, mascarpone (actually, today I used Greek yogurt) and Marsala.
