約2.4km付近、進行方向右手に見える神社は『湊川神社』です。「楠公（なんこう）さん」の愛称で親しまれています。
楠木正成にゆかりのあるものを納めた宝物殿や能楽堂である神能殿があり、社殿の天井画は必見です。
