実は創立者のジョン・ロブってオーストラリアの靴職人だったんですね。足に障害があった為、履きやすい靴を自身の為にデザインしたのが創立のキッカケだそうです????
イギリスに移住してから、1863年に生産技術の高さから英国王室御用達に任命されました。
