いなべ市で永年建具職人として、組子細工を主とする衝立(ついたて)や、木工芸品を制作されている、木村 修さん。
北勢町阿下喜にある、いなべまちかど博物館「遊木館」の館長さんでもあります。
木の色彩や木目、それぞれの木が持つ特徴を、最大限に活かした作品は、大変美しく繊細です。
