星の里たまごが生産される阪本鶏卵美星農場では洗濯バサミで取り付けている緑色のシートを使用しています。
ダニ取りシートという商品ですがその名前の通り、養鶏場の害虫として問題視されている『ダニ』を捕獲駆除するためのものです。
阪本鶏卵がこのシートを使う理由は鶏舎内での薬剤使用をしたくないからです。
害虫駆除のための薬剤は鶏にも作業するスタッフにも負担がかかるもの。
