最近時常想起最喜歡的高中導師，和我們說過的一件事。

高中的某次課堂上，她要我們將手心盡可能地貼近眼睛，然後問大家，是否看得清手上的掌紋。全班搖了搖頭。於是她問我們那要怎樣才看得到？大家下意識地拉開手心與雙眼的距離，並對著她投以疑惑的眼神。

此時，她才點點頭說：「人生中的事件就像是你們手中的掌紋一樣。每個當口感覺自己被困住、深陷其中都是正常的，因為時間還沒到。人生很多事情都是這樣的，非要經過一段沈澱期，我們才能了解當初那個點的意義。就跟拉開焦距後，才能看清楚的掌紋一樣。」
