圭のテニスの特徴に、ミスが少ないという所があります。これは子供の頃から同じで、彼のミスの少なさは、常にコート狭しと走り回る事の出来るフットワークと、決して諦めないボールへの執着心、0-40の状況、最後の1ポイントであっても大切にプレイできる心から来るもの。苦しい時などに自分自身、つまり我がでてしまうもの。
