It’s nearly peak foliage around here, and it’s still apple season! It’s not quite cleanse-friendly, but it IS gluten- and dairy-free, so here goes:

8 medium peeled and sliced Cortland or Macintosh apples
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/3 cup maple syrup
1 t
