静岡茶の起源は
当産地本山茶。
今からおよそ
770年前(1241年鎌倉時代)
駿河国生まれの
僧侶 聖一国師により
中国から持ち帰った茶の
種を現在の静岡市に
植えたのが始まりと
されています。
