As a Dutchie I cannot ignore our wonderful Dutch food like these Dutch gingerbread cookies also known as ‘speculaas’ (spay-cu-laes)! Speculaas are traditionally shaped in handcrafted wooden moulds like I did here but mine are just a teenytiny different.
