????27日に知恩院さんの除夜の鐘の試し撞きに行ってきました。

今までテレビでしか見たことがありませんでしたが、生で聴く大きな鐘の音は、腹の底から響く感じの低い音でいいですね。????✨

この釣鐘、約70トンあるそうで、電車2両分の重さといったところでしょうか。釣鐘もさることながら、それを吊り下げて支えている鐘楼もすごいですよね。

修復中の国宝・御影堂も姿を現しましたね。2019年に全て完了するそうです。????
