昭和の森フォレストビレッジは元々、「千葉市ユースホステル」として1983年に公営にてオープン致しました。
全国から様々な団体様の宿泊の場として、
周辺地域では学校授業の一環としてなど、
様々な形で利用していただきました。

2014年には「昭和の森フォレストビレッジ」としてリニューアルオープン
翌年2015年にはOUTLANDとフォレストカフェ
2017年にはフットサルコートがオープン
