「第33回 東京モーターショー」は、第１回から続いた総合ショー（乗用車・商用車）をはじめて分離させた、初の乗用車・２輪車ショーとなりました。
20世紀最後の開催ということもあり、各社が環境・安全・ITSといった先進技術を結集????????
なかでも燃料電池自動車や電気自動車は非常に大きな注目を集め、出展メーカーそれぞれが個性と粋を結集させた豪華な開催となりました！
