極寒地用フライトジャケットであるtype N-2A。このtype N-2Aは第2次世界大戦後の1950年代初頭に採用された。
インターライニングとして縫い込まれたウールパイル生地、ファスナー分割式フード、フード内張のシープムートン、風よけのファーなど極寒地に耐える作り込みがなされ、また狭いコックピット内での運動性を確保するため短めの着丈で仕立て上げられています。
