それを記念し、原点を見つめ直すべく「原点回帰」をテーマに過去の名機を現在に蘇らせたDE-5750Eが登場。
1987年に誕生したDE-5700Cは、G-SHOCK初期の丸型ベーシックモデルで、日本国内では未発売ながら、有名ミュージシャンの着用もあり世界的に人気を博した伝説のモデル。
過去幾多の復刻を遂げ、2018年完全復刻を果たす。
